Aims and Scope

Vision:

To establish itself as a leading scientific and research authority in the field of cognitive warfare at national and regional levels by 2031, influencing high-level defense and security policymaking, enhancing cognitive literacy among elites, and steering strategic research toward the development of sciences and technologies related to cognitive warfare.

Objectives:

  1. To advance specialized knowledge in the domain of cognitive warfare and elucidate emerging concepts in this field.
  2. To foster connections among diverse scientific disciplines (including neuroscience, psychology, artificial intelligence, linguistics, philosophy of mind, security and defense, sociology, and cyberspace) through interdisciplinary research.
  3. To empower policymakers and decision-making institutions by providing strategic, data-driven analyses in the areas of soft and hybrid warfare.
  4. To identify and introduce emerging cognitive technologies with applications in security, defense, media, and virtual spaces.
  5. To establish a scientific platform for analyzing and countering cognitive threats posed by adversaries in the realms of hybrid warfare, psychological operations, and perceptual influence.
  6. To encourage the nation’s scientific elites to engage in targeted activities in security-focused cognitive sciences, leveraging domestic capabilities to enhance cognitive deterrence.
